Games for the black-and-white TI-84 Plus
Not every TI-84 has a colour screen. CalcX Lite is a small Flash app for the TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. It adds Snake, Flappy and Tic Tac Toe to your APPS menu, and it uses a request-code system so your unlock code is made for your calculator only.

How the free trial works on the TI-84 Plus
CalcX Lite shows a 6-digit request code. Type it into your calcx.store account and press the free trial button to get a trial code, then type that code into the calculator. Only real play time counts, and the timer pauses when you stop pressing keys. If the calculator says the date is wrong, set it in MODE then SET CLOCK and try the code again.

Installing it
Install TI Connect CE, plug in the USB cable, and send the CalcX.8xk file to the calculator. Then open CalcX from APPS. The install guide has the black-and-white steps too.

Can the TI-84 Plus run games?
Yes. The black-and-white TI-84 Plus can run Flash apps and programs. CalcX Lite is a Flash app with three games.
Why does CalcX Lite show a request code?
The black-and-white TI-84 Plus cannot read its ID while a program is running, so the app makes a code from the calculator and your unlock or trial code is built from that code.
